Background

I grew up in many different states, but made a home in Texas. I enjoy the litle things in life, like taking a hike to one of the small lakes around Lake Tahoe. My passion is researching and teaching others what I have learned. Lately, I have been involved in painting and publishing as well as radiology teaching and consultation.

Education and experience

I graduated from The Academy of Health Sciences at Fort Sam Houston (US ARMY) as a distinguished honor graduate of the Radiology Technologist program

After completing my Pre-Medical requirements, I obtained a BS degree in radiation sciences and Radiology Practitioner Assistant. ARRT certification in Mammography and CBRPA board certification for the RPA has also been awarded.

Aside form being a radiologic technologist and RPA, I have teaching experience in cross sectional anatomy at the Texas State University in San Marcos, TX

Radiology presentations have been made to radiology societies, such as the AIUM (american institute for ultrasound in medicine)

I am working with other universities to educate RAs and start RPA programs

Currently, I am invited to speak at CME conferences and continue to offer consultation in the area of the radiologist extender

I recently (2005) had an oppertunity to lecture to the RA students in the program at Midwestern State University in Texas. Great students and staff! It will be a success!
