Site's located in Georgia and Tennessee. We currently have 1 RPA(myself) and another starting late May. We are looking for at least 2, possibly 3 more RPA's. RSI is a teleradiology company that utilizes RPA's for on-site coverage for procedures. The procedures are mostly fluoroscopy,
picc lines and occasional arthrograms, myelograms, and CT guided biopsies (mostly livers). No angio. stuff. These positions carry alot of autonomy for the RPA. Radiologists come on-site 1 to 2 days per week for difficult procedures and are always available for consultation with the RPA and referring physicians. The position in Tennessee will most likely be with a full-time radiologist on-site with the RPA.
The RPA candidate needs to have strong pathology skills for all modalities including plain film, u/s, nuc. med, MRI and CT and good interaction with referring physicians. Clinical skills should be based primarily on those listed above. Any prior dictation of exams with radiologist supervision is a definite plus.
The company is currently expanding at a phenomenal rate. Dr. Reddy (chief radiologist) is a huge advocate of the RPA. From my personal experience, I can tell you that I am very satisfied with my position and the support that I receive from all the RSI radiologists.
Benefits are excellent and include full malpractice coverage, paid health insurance for you and your family, profit sharing plan, and bonuses. Just like the radiologists. Continuing education is paid.
Salary is in top 30% for RPA's.
Any and all interested RPA's should contact me ASAP. If sending an email, please attach a current CV with work history, experience, and procedures done during RPA clinical instruction plus any dictation experience.
There are many positions available on the NSRPA web site, which is only open to members.
